Feeling Pride

We’re getting close to the end of our Kickstarter campaign, at least the one that will help us fund the pre-production phase of the movie, and I think it’s nothing short of inspiring how many people, many of them strangers to us, have chosen to be part of this film. We, of course, think our film is a wonderful adventure, but what a joy to discover how many people are agreeing with us!

As I began this project, I was absorbed by the thought of satisfying my own expectations, but, as we proceed, I am finding an even greater excitement in the expectations and enthusiasm of all the wonderful people who have joined me – first, my co-filmmakers, Jana and Russ, and our publicist, Cherry – but, beyond that, the partners in this project who have found us on Kickstarter.

It’s going to be a long journey, but the prize at the end will be something we can all feel proud of – I know that, absolutely, and without doubt.
